As a customer of Monmouth Leisure Centre, we want to make sure you are kept up to date with the development project as it happens including the launch of our brand new facilitates.

QU: What’s happening?

A: Monmouthshire County Council has committed £7.4 million to redevelop Monmouth Leisure Centre. The project will enable Monmouthshire residents to live a healthy and active life.

QU: What does the project include?

Phase one: All first floor works including the new play area/cafe is scheduled to be completed 15/08/18

  • Large state of art Technogym-equipment gym
  • Large children’s Indoor play centre
  • Designated Spin studio
  • Open plan cafe
  • Multi-purpose meeting room

Phase two: The swimming pool health suite is scheduled to be completed at the end of the year.

  • New 25m swimming pool with viewing area
  • Health suite (steam, sauna and jacuzzi)
  • Treatment room

QU: What are the new opening times for the new gym?

A: Monmouth premier facility will be open the following times;

Monday – Friday 06:30 – 22:00

Saturday – Sunday 08:15 – 18:00

QU: What are the new opening times for the new play centre?

A: Monmouth premier play facility will be open 7 days a week (excluding bank holidays) from 10:00 – 18:00.

QU: I am a direct debit member, what happens when the new facility opens?

A: Letters to all direct debit members will be sent out from the start of August explaining everything. There will be no changes in price until September 15th. If you are happy with the information in the letter, you will not be required to do anything further.

QU: I am an annual member, what do I need to do?

A: Nothing, you can just continue enjoying all the upgraded facilities.

Qu: Do I need a TGS Key in the new facility?

A: No, all Technogym Cardio Vascular equipment can be operated by your smartphone via the Technogym App. All your training information can be available to you through your App, this includes making changes to your programme, seeing what you have achieved as well as getting involved in challenges.
